Audition Dance Battle Philippines, the country’s number one casual game and the newest dance craze phenomenon to hit the Philippine web, are not only pulling in the young and beautiful (ahem!)—it is making them stick together in harmless fun and friendship.
Audistas, the name that Audition Dance Battle Philippines players have come to call themselves, don’t just groove with the music using their fingers, they’re forming clubs, hold EBs, form forum threads, and make ym conference part of their daily routine.
“We all do have the contact numbers of each member and our members are sending group text messages everyday. Others bond while playing AuditionPH. I can say that we are really close with each other, whether in real life or even virtually we treat everyone us brothers and sisters. We also conduct events In-games,” says Edz, a founding member of the Pussyfierz Club.
For outsiders and observers, this may be going a bit too far. But for the club members, joining the group and doing these things with them are among their most memorable and meaningful gaming experience.
“Pussyfierz Club is my second family. Because of it, I met a lot of new friends. We have fun together not only in-game but also in real life. The most memorable one is nung nag-overnight kami sa bahay ni pussyfierSYM! Wahahaha! Ang adik ko nun. Nag-inuman kami. That was nung June 16, I think. Hihihi! There were eight of us at that time. The best yung EB na yun,” shares Bryan a.k.a. PussyfierAHu.
Bryan is an 18-year-old student from Marikina and a self-admitted Audition Dance Battle Philippines fanatic. He joined the Pussifierz Club out of curiosity, never thinking that it would "change [his] gaming life forever".
“I’m glad na nakasali ako sa club and I’m happy that na-meet ko sila. Eventhough di ko pa sila nakikita lahat, I know na masaya silang kasama,” Bryan says.
The club was formed after the open beta testing with only 6 members. In just a short period of time, their number grew to almost 200, with new members added every week.
“We really didn’t expect that this club will grow this big. We just created this for our group, the 6 of us who are all family related. We decided to make our accounts uniform so that it will be easy for us to recognize each other. Eventually, the community started recognizing our names and we became the first Pussyfierz,” says Edz.
As a group, Pussifierz is strict when it comes to membership.
“Basically our club has no level requirement. We just want our members to be active in the Club forum thread; this is a must for easier communication. We also prohibit joining more than one club. Once you’ve become a member, you can only use your Pussyfier account, meaning you must be willing to set aside your old account if ever you have one,” she continues.
However, underneath these laid out rules are two fundamental laws: play the game for fun and enjoy making friends.
“Our main goal is to gain more friends, and more awards to come. As of now I can’t think of any more accomplishments that I want in this Club coz I know we’ve already gone so far with this Club, I just wish that this Club will go on for as long as there is Audition PH,” says Edz.
Because of their involvement in community events, even initiating activities themselves, e-Games came to recognize them as an official Audition Dance Battle Philippines Club. During e-Games’ Anniversary Party bash titled DOM1Nation, GM Lowe bestowed to them e-Game’s certificate of recognition.
"Being the pioneer Club in Audition PH, the Pussyfierz Club became the role model Club, a lot of the new Audition PH clubs today are following their foot steps. I’m very thankful that the Pf club founders really took the initiative to take this big step for the Audition PH Community. Truly they made a mark that would set them aside from one of the biggest communities know to the online gaming industry, the Audition Community," says the proud GM Lowe.
